Virtual Production – Art Department Content Creation (PXO)

Seneca Polytechnic is partnering with Pixomondo (PXO), an award-winning virtual production and visual effects studio, to offer specialized training that prepares you for a career in virtual production as a Virtual Art Department (VAD) artist.

Taught by leading industry professionals using PXO’s proprietary techniques, this course includes a series of three microcredentials focused on art department roles:

1. Core Techniques in Visualization
2. Virtual Production Content Creation
3. Unreal Performance Optimization

This 12-week course is designed for creative professionals and graduates of programs in visual effects, 3D modelling, game animation and similar specialties.

• complete this course from home in 12 weeks through convenient, online learning
• learn key techniques in Unreal Engine, a 3D creation tool at the forefront of virtual production
• explore direct access to employment opportunities at PXO upon completion of the course
• for those located in the Greater Toronto Area, there will be an optional opportunity to view completed assets live on a real virtual production stage at Pixomondo’s Toronto location
