ISC2, (The International Information Systems Security Certifications Consortium, Inc.) is an internationally recognized organization that certifies information security professionals around the world. Achieving the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designation is proof that the security practitioner has mastered the concepts in the CISSP Common Book of Knowledge, a compendium of best practices in the security field.
This course is intended for information technology managers who want to strengthen their knowledge in information security domains (Access Control, Application Security, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning, Cryptography, Information Security and Risk Management, Legal, Regulations, Compliance and Investigations, Operations Security, Physical (Environmental) Security, Security Architecture and Design, Telecommunications and Network Security) and assist in preparing for the CISSP certification exam.
Exam candidates must register separately with ISC2 to write the exam. Certification examination fees are not included in the course fees. Please refer to ISC2 for more details.

Can be taken as a professional option for CNS or CTY. However students who have not yet graduated from CNS or CTY cannot write the CISSP professional exam. See course outline for more details.
This is an advanced course designed to prepare information systems and network security professionals to write the CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification examination. CISSP is the gold standard in vendor-neutral security certification through the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (www.isc2.org).
