About the Program

If you’re interested in animation and want to develop your skills for a production manager or producer role, this microcredential will give you a strategic advantage. It’s designed to bridge the business and creative worlds of animation, outlining all the steps involved in developing a production budget. 

You’ll learn how to develop, modify and maintain a budget for 2D, 3D and alternative productions using cloud-based spreadsheets and best practices. In addition, you’ll have the tools to assess scripts and their feasibility from a financial perspective. And in your final assignment, you’ll create an accurate budget to forecast the costs of a production.
