Once you have completed four advanced level subjects, including English & Communications and an Advanced Level math course, you will be eligible for the Seneca Academic and Career Entrance (ACE). The ACE certificate is accepted for entry into apprenticeships and postsecondary college-level programs. Please note that mature students may enter college programs by meeting the program prerequisites and do not require an ACE certificate or other high school level credential.

About the Program
The one-to-three semester Academic Upgrading program is intended for those who require additional credits for a college certificate or diploma program. Upon completion, you may be ready to apply to a college-level program or enter into an apprenticeship.
Daytime and evening classes are available. Students of the program will benefit from the career counselling services offered, as well as assistance with college applications.
Upgrading courses are available for the 12U English and 12U math prerequisites required for Seneca Degree programs.
