Save money and start your studies from your home country
NEW Online ELI Section
Online Program Overview
Discover our new online ELI section, launching in fall 2024. It’s a great way to save money and begin your studies from your home country, even if you do not have a study permit.
Just like the in-person program, there are eight ELI levels offered online. Classes accommodate different time zones and consist of 20 hours of synchronous and asynchronous learning.
You can enrol in the ELI online section as a stand-alone program. Or, if you plan to transition to a professional program at Seneca Polytechnic, you may join the professional program in person after completing ELI 8 and receiving your study permit.
Program Dates
You can begin your ELI online studies in September, October, January, March, May or July. Download the ELI Academic Calendar for details.
Technology Requirements
To join the ELI online classes, you will need to have a stable, high-speed internet connection, access to a home computer with a speaker and microphone, or headphones, and a webcam. Review more details on hardware and software learning requirements.
