Are you a mature student? Mature students are 19 years old by the first day of scheduled classes and do not have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). If this sounds like you and you are thinking about going back to school, we have the resources to support you.

Online Advising

Webinars

Seneca offers a number of webinars specially designed for you. These online sessions are an easy and convenient way to learn more about applying to Seneca, paying for your studies and more. Explore and register for our webinars.

Financial Aid

Financial aid can be an important factor for your postsecondary studies. There are a several resources available including the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP). OSAP is a mix of grants and loans to help pay for your postsecondary studies.  It’s only available to Canadian students. Learn more.

Better Jobs Ontario

Better Jobs Ontario (formerly Second Career) is a provincial government program that provides financial support to help qualified, laid off workers train for careers that are in demand.

Career Recharge Workshops

Last year, Seneca HELIX received a $1-million grant from the TD Ready Challenge to deliver the TD-HELIX Transformation Initiative, now known as Career Recharge.

Career Recharge offers free workshops to mid-career professionals on a variety of different topics every other Tuesday at Seneca or online. You are welcome to participate in workshops, events and mentorship opportunities.
