Let’s face it, there are a lot of barriers to education. That’s why each year we offer millions of dollars in financial support and other resources to take that stress out of being a student. Set yourself up for success and check out these great options designed to support you financially.

Tuition & Expenses

We can help you plan your finances and learn more about what expenses to expect from your first day of classes until you graduate. 

Tuition Fees – Fees vary by program. Check the “costs” tab on your program page for more information. 

Tuition – Full fees for the first term are due by the first day of classes. Check these important academic dates and deadlines.

Financial Aid

We know that financial aid can be an important factor for your postsecondary studies. There are a number of options and our team can help you access the resources you need. 

OSAPThe Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) offers a mix of grants and loans to help pay for your postsecondary studies. This program is available to Canadian students only. 

Awards, scholarships & bursaries – Each year, Seneca offers millions of dollars in awards, scholarships and bursaries.  Some are open to all students, while others are tied to specific programs.

Work-study – Help finance your studies by working at a part-time job on campus. If you’re enrolled full time and demonstrate financial need on your application, you may qualify.

Seneca has many free supports and services to help you. Options include technical support, learning resources and state-of-the-art on-campus facilities and amenities.

Equipment & Software

Information Technology Services (ITS) is available to support you by email, phone and on campus. Seneca also offers helpful technology resources including:

Tutoring & Workshops

The Learning Centre is available to support you with your studies. They offer a wide variety of free resources, including: 

  • tutoring and workshops
  • one-to-one appointments
  • group study sessions
  • STRIVE programming, learning and life skills workshops
  • tip sheets and resources

Libraries

Seneca Libraries have a variety of free resources and services to support you academically including:    

  • select textbook or course readings including accessible digital copies
  • an online collection that’s available 24 hours a day with access to valuable resources like LinkedIn Learning
  • online help through the AskUs Live Chat
  • access to the Sandbox Studios and professional equipment such a lighting, cameras, 3D printers and backdrops.

Health & Wellness

Health & Dental

All students registered in full-time programs are automatically enrolled in the Health and Dental Plan. This is a great way to benefit from health and dental coverage at a reasonable rate.

Meal Plans

Seneca Dining Services has a variety of Campus Meal Plans. We offer value and savings to satisfy every appetite.

Counselling

Free counselling is available to help you through life’s difficult moments.

Red Dot Project

All 100 female, accessible and gender-neutral washrooms at Seneca offer free feminine hygiene products. The initiative supports the Red Dot Project.

The Seneca Soup Program

The Seneca Soup program helps to ensure that all students who are in need have access to a healthy meal on campus — free soup made fresh daily. You will need to sign up, but there’s no cost to participate.

Gyms & Fitness Centres

Seneca has great recreation facilities, fitness and wellness programs. They’re all covered by your student fees so you can stay active, take a break from your studies and have fun.

Career Preparation

Seneca Works

Seneca Works can help you plan for and reach your career goals. Their services are free and include:

  • one-on-one resumé critiques
  • interview preparation
  • career fairs
  • access to gently used business clothes for interviews  
  • online job bank of 16,000+ organizations posting 7,000+ jobs per year

Seneca Student Federation (SSF)

The student-run Seneca Student Federation (SSF) aims to help you make the most out of your life at Seneca. Their mission is to be the voice of the student body and to offer financial, social and academic support. 

Here are some helpful resources they offer:

  • Food Bank - available for full-time students
  • WeConnect - access to mental health and wellness programs through your health insurance
  • cheap eats - great breakfast and lunch specials
  • personal development courses – brush up on a range of skills
  • Tax Clinic – get help with filing taxes

Getting to Seneca

Transportation can be expensive, but there are some ways to save money. Options include:   

  • transit – Seneca’s GTA-based campuses are accessible by public transit
  • shuttle bus – Free shuttles with Wi-Fi run between campuses
  • parking plans – Payment options are available for those who drive daily, weekly or less frequently 
  • Enterprise CarShare – Rent a car at a discounted rate
  • carpool – Use Seneca RideShare to find a carpool partner
  • cycling – Bike racks are available on campuses
