About the Program

The Digital Media Technician Assistant microcredential teaches you how to support data management teams and camera departments for film and television productions.

You’ll learn practical skills to safely secure master video and audio files, transform video into the appropriate colour space for on-set monitoring and more. In addition, you will get hands-on experience with Davinci Resolve, the post-production software used for feature films and television shows across the industry.

A basic understanding of post-production systems and non-linear editing software is required for this course, either through self-education, work experience or postsecondary training.

This microcredential was developed with funding from the Ministry of Colleges and Universities.
