Seneca Polytechnic has partnered with İstanbul Ticaret University (ITICU) to deliver the Financial Technology program in Türkiye at ITICU. Students will have the opportunity to earn dual credentials upon completion, an Ontario College Graduate Certificate from Canada and a Master’s in Digital Economy and Marketing from Türkiye by taking additional courses.
In this graduate certificate program, you will work with innovative and disruptive technologies used in the financial service sector. The program’s expert faculty will outline best practices for product development and entrepreneurship and enhance your understanding of privacy, ethics and the regulatory landscape of financial technology. The program covers topics including cybersecurity, web application and mobile development as well as data analytics for financial services.

Istanbul Ticaret University was established in 2001 by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Education and Social Services Foundation, with the principle of “Local Identity, Global Vision”. The campuses are located in the center of Istanbul in the midst of historical locations. Founded in 1882, Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is one of the largest and most established chambers of commerce in Türkiye. Today, Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, with more than 700 thousand members, with 81 professional committees, 273 council members and 353 committees representing the sectors in Istanbul, plays a major role in ensuring that every student who chooses the university receives a universal education equipped with professional qualifications, integrating theory and practice without breaking away from the realities of life.
The university has six faculties including Humanities and Social Sciences, Business, Law, Communication, Engineering, Architecture and Design and English Preparatory Department. It also has institutes of Foreign Trade, Social Science, Science, Finance Institute, Communication Science and Internet Institute, in addition to Research and Application centres. ITICU continues to grow with 9000 students and approximately 300 academicians.
