Early Childhood Education

Graduates of this two-year Ontario College diploma program with a GPA of 70% (3.0 on Seneca's grade scale) or higher may be considered for admission into the fourth semester of the Honours Bachelor of Child Development degree in the winter (Newnham Campus) or fall term (Newnham or King Campus).

26 courses plus one work-integrated learning term must be completed at Seneca.

Five semesters plus one work-integrated learning term to complete the degree.

Domestic students will be required to apply through the Ontario Colleges Application Service (OCAS) and select "degree completion" as their entry semester. Official transcripts showing diploma completion and a final program GPA must be submitted.  

International students will be required to apply through the Seneca International Online Application and must follow up with their Admissions Adviser (via the Service Hub at theservicehub@senecapolytechnic.ca) regarding their pathway eligibility. The student will be required to provide their Seneca application number when contacting their adviser. Official transcripts showing diploma completion and a final program GPA must be submitted.
