Getting to Start at Seneca Week

With campuses in Toronto and York Region, Seneca is always close by. All our GTA-based campuses are accessible by car and/or public transit.

Parking and Campus Access

Parking is free at Start at Seneca Week. Here is the parking information by campus:

King: all lots are open. Access the campus through the east and west doors of Magna Hall.
Newnham: all lots are open. Recommend parking in lots 1, 3 or 4. Access the campus through building A.
Seneca@York: please park in the Student Services Parking Garage (84 James Gilles St.). Access the campus through the Stephen E. Quinlan building entrance on The Pond Road. Please note: If you park in other lots on the York University campus, you will need to pay for parking, so we recommend this free parking option closest to Seneca’s entrance.

For free event parking, please follow these steps:

Download the HONK App from your device’s App Store or Google Play and set up your account
When you arrive on campus, open the App and follow these instructions:
1. Choose your parking location/zone.
2. Select the amount of time for your stay (hint: select the daily max).
3. Follow the prompts to log in or sign up for a HONK account — you’ll need an email address, mobile phone number and licence plate. You don’t need a payment method, as your promo code provides free parking.
4. Once you’re logged in, you’ll be directed back to the checkout page for the time and date selected — ensure your licence plate number is correct.
  To receive complimentary parking, click “Add Promo” and enter the promo code you received via email.
5. Click “Park for Free” and you’re all set.
6. You’ll receive an email receipt after your purchase.
