Seneca Polytechnic will be closed from the end of business day on Friday, Dec. 20, 2024, to the reopening on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025. Part-time classes for the Winter 2025 Term will begin on Friday, Jan. 10. During the holiday closure, you will still be able to access The Service Hub virtually through the online portal and chatbot.

MTH069 is an introductory math course for students who have not completed high school math and/or who need to build confidence in their math skills. MTH149 satisfies the math entry requirements for most college level programs, while MTH196/197/198 level courses satisfy the entry requirements for most degree programs. (Note that the prerequisites for MTH196/197/198 are often MTH069 (B grade or higher) and/or MTH149.)
Enrolment in a math upgrading course can be determined this way:
Successful completion of MTH196, MTH197 or MTH198 satisfies the math entry requirements for most applied degree programs.
