Learn necessary skills for bringing accessible solutions to the workplace with three microcredentials related to inclusive design - Inclusive Design Method, Creating Accessible Digital Media and Inclusive Business Plan.
These courses address the needs of individuals and organizations by providing you with innovative and strategic learning opportunities for inclusive human-centred thinking, tools and compliance. As a student, you will seek out points of exclusion, identify situational challenges by recognizing context and content challenges and offer different ways to engage and ensure compliance.
These microcredentials are for those who have a background in design or communications and individuals already employed in specialized roles in accessibility across the public and private sectors. The focus will be on upgrading your skills and knowledge to enhance business productivity by embracing diversity and inclusion. Awareness of accessibility and inclusive design practices is increasingly relevant across many job categories.

This course will focus on learning the Inclusive Design technique used to provide evidence-based research in business problems. Students will learn the practical, iterative, people-centered framework for innovation utilized by the Design Council.

This course will focus on creating accessible digital media. Students will learn how to use industry software to create WCAG 2.1 and AODA compliant solutions for documents, presentations, and websites.

This course will focus on creating an inclusive business plan. Students will learn how to integrate an inclusive business checklist into a company's planning to add value and avoid delays, complaints, legal challenges, and costly retrofits.
