Seneca Polytechnic will be closed from the end of business day on Friday, Dec. 20, 2024, to the reopening on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025. Part-time classes for the Winter 2025 Term will begin on Friday, Jan. 10. During the holiday closure, you will still be able to access The Service Hub virtually through the online portal and chatbot.

Overview

Learn to use Accpac, Sage 50 Accounting or Quickbooks through hands-on learning. Please note that these courses focus on the use of the specific accounting software and not bookkeeping/accounting principles. It is recommended that students have basic bookkeeping/accounting knowledge prior to registering.

Learn to use the ACCPAC Systems Manager, G/L, A/P, A/R and reporting functions in a hands-on learning environment. Topics include initial set-up, entering transactions (journal entries, invoices, cheques, adjustments, etc.), preparing income and balance statements, integration of the three modules as well as the daily, monthly and yearly processing routine.

Completion

Confirmation of Attendance

Students who attend 70% of scheduled classes receive a confirmation of attendance at the end of each course.
