The Open House “Apply Today and We’ll Waive the $90 International Application Fee” promotion, which is sponsored by Seneca Polytechnic, begins Saturday, Nov. 30 at 9 a.m. EST and closes Monday, Dec. 2, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. EST. 

Eligible participants in the promotion must be international applicants who apply to a full-time certificate, diploma, advanced diploma, graduate certificate or degree program at Seneca during the promotion period for the academic term beginning January, May or September 2025 or January 2026. The promotion is open only to prospective full-time international students who at the time of entry will be at least 17 years of age and have completed Grade 12; or 19 years of age or over (a mature student). Entering the promotion is free. All participants agree to abide by these rules and all decisions made by Seneca, which are final in all matters relating to this promotion.

To be eligible, participants must visit the promotions area in person or any international booth virtually at Open House and request the promo code. Participants can use this code on the payment screen when applying to Seneca for January, May or September 2025 or January 2026 through the International Web Application (IWA) during the promotion period. The promotion code will be available to the first 500 applicants only; after that, it will not longer be valid. Applicants who plan to use the promotion code should ensure they have all supporting documents ready when they go to apply through IWA. 

Seneca will not be responsible for any supplementary fees outside of the $90 international application fee. Furthermore, the submission of an application does not guarantee a Seneca Offer of Admission; all decisions on offers will be at the discretion of Seneca’s International Office. 

Upon submission of an application through the IWA and use of the promo code on the payment screen, Seneca will waive the $90 international fee for the first 500 applicants only. There is one (1) international application fee payment covered per participant.

• No cash alternative or substitution for the international application fee payment will be provided, except that Seneca, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute the application fee payment for another item of equal or greater value for any reason.

If for any reason the promotion is not capable of running as planned, including tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Seneca which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, Seneca reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion and to waive the international application fee for all eligible applicants prior to (or after, if applicable) action taken by Seneca. Seneca reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the promotion (including, but not limited to, any non-human mechanism, entity) to be acting in violation of the Official Rules or to be acting in an unfair or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the promotion will not be eligible.
