Step 1: Set Up or Reactivate Your Seneca MyID Account

New Students

  • You should receive an activation email with your login information within 24 hours of your registration. If not, please contact the Service Desk at 416-491-5050 ext. 22129 or servicedesk@senecacollege.ca

Returning Student

If you don’t remember your login details, please contact the Service Desk via one of the following ways:

Step 2: Set Up and Access Your Student Email

Your "@myseneca.ca" student email will be your primary form of communication for all course- and College-related matters.

If you have not already set up your student email, please do so as soon as possible.

To access your Seneca email, log on to https://myseneca.ca. To learn how to set up and check your student email, visit the ITS website.

Step 3: Review the Learning Modes

Your course(s) will be delivered in one of the following learning modes. Your confirmation of registration email and your My Academics on your Student Home will indicate what type of learning mode each of your courses are offered in. Please see our Learning Modes web page for a full description of all modes.

Step 4: Access your course

On the start date of your course, please log in to Learn@Seneca with your Seneca student MyID username and password.

On the left-hand panel, click on Courses to bring up the courses in which you are currently enrolled. Please click on each course and read your instructor's Welcome Message under Announcements for information on your first class and more.

Please navigate to your course site to get familiar with the virtual classroom environment.

Online Asynchronous (OA)

You will receive an email from the Centre for Flexible Learning (cFLEX) with detailed instructions on how to access your course(s) by logging into the OntarioLearn.com portal.

The email is sent from online@senecacollege.ca to your Seneca student email inbox.

You can expect this email on the course start date, or within 2 business days if you’ve registered on/after the start date. If you need assistance, please email online@senecacollege.ca.

Online Synchronous (OS) and Online Synchronous and Asynchronous (OB)

On the start date of your course, please log in to Learn@Seneca with your Seneca student MyID username and password.

On the left-hand panel, click on Courses to bring up the courses in which you are currently enrolled. Please click on each course and read your instructor's Welcome Message under Announcements for information on your first class and more.

Please navigate to your course site to get familiar with the virtual classroom environment.

In Person, Hybrid, Flexible

Please note: beginning Sept. 7, being vaccinated against COVID-19 will be a condition for students, employees and others on official Seneca business to come on campus during the Fall 2021 Term (Sept. 7 to Dec. 23, 2021). Those coming on campus must upload proof of vaccination using the Seneca Safe app. Additional information can be found online.

Room numbers will be made available on your Student Home just prior to the start date.

On the start date of your course, please log in to Learn@Seneca with your Seneca student MyID username and password.

On the left-hand panel, click on Courses to bring up the courses in which you are currently enrolled. Please click on each course and read your instructor's Welcome Message under Announcements for information on your first class and more.

*Please check your course addendum/weekly schedule for more details on final exams. If you are enrolled in an Online Asynchronous/Ontario Learn course, your final assessment period may vary.
15 Graduation Application Form Due Wednesday, December 15 for Degree, Diploma, Certificate programs

For Recognition of Achievement programs, please submit application here upon successful completion of final course.
16 Grades Available Wednesday, December 22 for most courses on Student Home.

Vaccination Policy & Fall 2021 FAQs

Beginning Sept. 7, being vaccinated against COVID-19 will be a condition for students, employees and others on official Seneca business to come on campus during the Fall 2021 Term (Sept. 7 to Dec. 23, 2021).

Your Student Records System (for grades, transcripts, tax receipts, etc.)

You can log into your Student Home anytime to view your course registrations, view and update your personal information, download tax receipts, as well as view your grades and financial information.

We’re open virtually Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Holiday Hours: Our call centre, chat and email services will be closed from the end of business day on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021 to the reopening on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022.
