Seneca has moved its summer 2020 term online and will be continuing our alternative delivery of academic programs and services, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Physical campuses will remain closed until further notice.

While Seneca Faculty of Continuing Education strives to offer the most extensive selection of programs and courses, some programs may see limitations in course offerings during the summer semester due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Course availability is subject to change in accordance with enrolment capacity.

Seneca Faculty of Continuing Education provides comprehensive and career-focused education that fits the multi-faceted schedules of our diverse students. Students may work towards their desired program and credential by registering on a course-by-course basis, allowing greater flexibility and choice in their educational pursuits.

Our online summer 2020 programs will have courses offered in either of the two following formats:

Online – Virtual classroom: provides students with an opportunity to attend a weekly online class at a scheduled day and time. These classes combine real-time activity led by an instructor and self-directed study.

Online – Self-directed: provides students with significant flexibility to learn and study at their desired time. There are no scheduled attendance requirements; however, students are encouraged to familiarize themselves and comply with the course outline details and deadlines. Students may interact with their instructor or each other through the Learning Management System, including Blackboard discussion boards, email or other technologies.
